Welcome to the VanStory Hills HOA website!
VanStory Hills is one of Fayetteville's oldest neighborhoods. It is located off of Morganton Road, which makes the neighborhood convenient to Ft. Bragg, downtown Fayetteville and shopping. Made up of approximately 550 homes, VanStory Hills is a mix of families who are new to the Fayetteville area as well as families who have called Fayetteville home for many years.
In the heart of the VanStory Hills neighborhood, you will find VanStory Hills Elementary School. This school, found in the top tier of schools in Cumberland County, is home to second through fifth grade students. Drive by the school to see the spirit rock or find out who the month's community sponsor is!
While you drive around this quaint neighborhood, you are likely to see many of the residents out for a little exercise. Many people use the quiet streets as a place to walk, jog, or go for a bike ride. There are bike paths located on almost every street in the VanStory Hills neighborhood as well as street lamps on each street to light your way. Flat streets,and a few hills, make this a great place to enjoy the North Carolina weather morning or evening.
As you venture around the neighborhood, you may see one of the members of the Board of Directors out and about. The Board is made up of six directors that volunteer from the Vanstory Hills community. These individuals work together, and with their fellow community members, to make the community the best it can be. The use of a yearly $25 fee goes to make sure the entrance of the neighborhood is seasonally decorated and professionally landscaped. They also distribute newsletters to keep you abreast of the latest news in the area and they put together a block party so you can meet your fellow neighbors. The Board works to keep the warm feel of this fabulous community in place.
